Easy Agile User Story Maps 6.3.0 - Story Map Views

Release Date: 5th January 2020

The team at Easy Agile is happy to announce the release of Easy Agile User Story Maps 6.3.0!

Introducing Story Map Views

Throughout the month of September and October, we invested heavily in user testing with our Story Maps customers. Key themes we learned were around the visual noise of the Story Map being a barrier to using our app.

As a result, we began improving the filtering experience in version 6.1.4 and 6.2.0 with a new filters menu, the ability to apply filters to Epics +/or issues independently and support for components and assignees.

We’ve continued to invest in this experience, and we’re pleased to announce the introduction of views in this release.

What is a View?

A view is a saved filter. It allows users to quickly focus on issues they care about at any given time without having to constantly turn filters on and off.

Views can be named, saved and shared with your team for easy access to information different users care about at different times. For example, you might have a saved view for:

  • your Sprint kick off and share this view with the whole team during that session so that everyone has a focused view of the work we will be delivering on next

  • Backlog grooming where your Scrum Master and Product Owner may only want to focus on unestimated work
